This (short) Glossary is necessary because within the spectrum of Shared Perspective it is imperative, when we use certain words, to share an understanding of just what the words mean. So this is a 'short dictionary', with very few words included. However, they are IMPORTANT words, hence the need to create and make public this common source of critical terms.

Importance

“That is important which has a measurable impact on property*.

Property

In alphabetical order, property can be:

  • financial: stocks, bonds, coins (and similar instruments of wealth);
  • intellectual: acquisition and possession of knowledge;
  • personal: ownership;
  • private: owned by one or a select few;
  • public: shared with others without identifying ownership;
  • real: real estate;
  • spiritual: belief in the supernatural.
There may be more, and in such case the meaning can be made specific but you get the point: power can be measured in its importance by weighing the amount of property involved. A simple example: it is important to get an education (it doesn’t matter what type) because without the knowledge gained (in whatever field) you are less capable of performing well in any related task.
