Everything starts as an example.
Tip: Print this page then Return to the Home Page and Select 'Download Shared Perspective'.

Look at the content that came with Shared Perspective. This is just an example of what someone else wrote. It means nothing specific but to share the possibilities that await you.
For example, see those values under 'Weights'? Delete a number you see there, and replace it with another value - much higher if you want to see a dramatic effect!
Weight represents the value of your emotions, the depth of the emotion being shown graphically in the charts (both bar and donut charts change as values change).

Once you are comfortable understanding the relationship to your story (the Title and Description), go ahead and delete the
  1. sample title and description,
  2. Weight(s),
  3. Thoughts and Feelings
and go ahead and create your own descriptive event. Following that, enter your Weight(ed) and related Thoughts and Feelings, showing how strongly each item was felt (your weighted subjective strength estimate). You probably have but one or two major emotions to share, but you may enter several (up to 6) which should cover the span of your emotional capacity. (This is unofficial hogwash)
Watch as the Visual Summary of your weighted input shows automatically in the charts.
What the charts are doing

The charts are a visual summary of what you entered. They are not a judgment and they are not editable. They update automatically as you change your weights and associated feelings.

Saving and sharing (optional)

Runs locally on your computer using your spreadsheet program.
